Vintage Port and LBV are made of a selection of full-bodied red Port wines of excellent quality from a single vintage. The main difference between the two lies in the aging. Vintage Port remains in wood for about 20 months and is then transferred to the bottle, where it continues to age. Late Bottled Vintage, as its name suggests, is bottled later, remaining in wood for four to six years.
